As an award winning builder and remodeler in the West Michigan area, I bring experience and integrity to every project. Creekside has been offering exceptional service for over 15 years. Since I live right in the heart of West Michigan, I have had the opportunity to work on projects as unique and diverse as the area itself - from extensive remodels in Ada to custom, lake-side home construction on Lake Macatawa in Holland.

I offer a long list of affiliations with many professional organizations. I have enjoyed being a member of the Home & Building Association of Greater Grand Rapids since 1995. I have served on the board since 2008 and I am the 2011 President. I am also a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Remodelers Council and the Better Business Bureau. I am a Certified Renovator-Lead Safety Innovation & Repair as well as a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist. On a personal note, I have a fantastic family and we enjoy living in Hudsonville. My wife Michelle grew up in Grandville and she owns the salon Hair Xtraordinare in Hudsonville. I was fortunate to grow up living on a lake so my experience with lakeside living gives me unique perspective in cottage and lake front construction.  We have 4 great kids and we are active in our church and our community.

With the birth of our son Coleton, I gained a new perspective on "lifetime" design (homes that are designed to allow for changes in personal and familial situations). I received the Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation before he was born but through our family experience, I have a much deeper understanding of home adaptation and how a home can be designed to plan for different levels of mobility and life changes. And these adaptations do not have to look commercial or sterile - using slight modifications and thoughts of better design, the space can be as creative and well-crafted as any other.
